Flowering dogwood trees (Cornus Florida) are beautiful North American trees that flower in the early spring with white bracts that surround a center cluster of small green flowers. Their blossoms give way to orange-red fruit in the summer that can persist until late in the year. They prefer full sun or partial sun and reach 15-30ft tall and 15-30ft wide at full maturity. The current tree size is a 7 gallon container (approximately 5-6ft tall).
